David is a State of Ohio Certified Residential Appraiser, FHA approved, FEMA Housing Inspector and a Certified Home Inspector. He enjoys unusual assignment types such as Geodesic Domes, Log Cabins, underground homes as well as the more common assignments. His license level allows him to appraise any residential 1-4 family dwelling regardless of complexity or market value. He specializes in tax and legal appraisal assignments serving as an expert witness in various Northeast Ohio courts including but not limited to the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Northern District of Ohio (both Cleveland and Youngstown), Cuyahoga County Court, Parma Municipal Court, Cuyahoga County Board of Revisions & Lake County Board of Revisions.
David has taken specialized courses at the Appraisal Institute in areas such as Litigation Appraising and The Appraiser as an Expert Witness: Preparation and Testimony. David keeps apprised of all the new changes with HUD/FHA financing and stays completely up to date on all the current governmental changes. David's course list is extensive but includes such courses as Recognizing Problem Properties, Appraising Unique Properties & Appraising Small Residential Income Properties. These courses are in addition to the normal appraisal courses required by the State of Ohio.
